Ready for a challenge? 
Beginning in October, we will have a monthly story prompt. And to add to the fun at the end of every month you'll have a chance to vote on the prompt story you like best.
Here's how it will work.
The prompt will be posted a few days before the first of the month. It will be general so it will fit any fandom. The first three weeks of each month will be for writing stories (NO slash, please).
Post your finished story on this site or another fanfic site and then post a link to your story on this thread. In your post be sure to include the title of the story, rating, fandom, and a short summary.
The last week of the month you will be able to vote for your favorite prompt story and that story and author will be recognized in the special section below.

Here's our first prompt.
October's Prompt
Boys love playing pranks on each other and sometimes they go a bit too far. Write about a time one of the brothers (or friends) played a prank that backfired causing injury (physical or emotional) to the intended victim.
