I missed it? Rats! I really wanted to see it so I could compare it with the miniseries.

Finally saw it and it was pretty good. some of it reminded me of the miniseries but it was different enough for me to enjoy it. Really hope they stay with the different characters and don't try to add in the favorites from the old show. That wouldn't work for me. (That's why I never got into the new BG. Couldn't stand the way they changed the characters.)

Man I forgot all about it. I really wanted to check it out too. I can't seem to keep up with any programs lately.

What's it about? I don't think I've really heard much about it. And I'm not familiar with the mini-series. I think I saw when it was on the other day but didn't know what it was.

The miniseries was about an alien race that comes to Earth stationing all these mother ships above all the major cities in the world. They pretend to come in peace looking for water(i think) when in reality they are looking for food(humans) It soon turns into the resistance against the visitors(aliens). It was a good miniseries and it introduced the man who later became Freddy Kreuger. And if you'd seen his character on V, there's no way he'd scare you.
Imagine the new series is set along the same lines. Just hope some characters are not transferred to the new one. It would kill the show for me.
Oh, and you can watch it online.(that's how I saw it.) Only drawback is you have to sit through several commercials.

never even heard of it - original or remake. It's definitely not graced over this side of the pond yet. That said, we only seem to get American TV around the same time as you guys if it's already popular (like SG-Universe) or has really big names like Flash Forward.
I tell you what I am loving at the mo though. True Blood. I've read the books, but the series is great. So funny too. Anyone else watch it? I need to desperately find some new decent tv. SN will end soon, as will Lost. Will need a new show to get into.
